That is, I think because you are using the self timer.  You take a meter reading when you are not in the frame, press the shutter, move into the fram and throw the predetermined exposure off as you have changed the light balance of the frame.  You either need to exposure compensate (and if you have a G!2 that's dead easy), or get a wireless remote…

oh and the IHB-02, it's just so versatile! loving every moment of it. their belts are just outta this world. have own many leather belts but none gave me the assurance and quality like IH!
