It's a bit hard to tell from that angle.  Could you take pics from the front, back, and side at chest height?

Hm, looks like only minimal fading occurred for that long a period. And not high contrast, either. How often do you wear them and wash them? They still look good and I think they still have the potential to develop a more interesting fade (if that's what you want). Maybe you just have to change the wear/wash regimen.
