@Mizmazzle glad you returned to the Tricotine Temple. They get really comfy, in my opinion — such a nice heft, but no suffering involved. It is the way.
-
@popvulture Heft indeed! It's almost like a weighted blanket.
-
@popvulture def not like trying to break a lefty.
-
@Mizmazzle haha yeah man, mine's still like a paper mache shell.
-
@popvulture Ha! mine is like damp paper mache. Not sure it will ever be what can be called “soft.” But if you’re going into a rough dive bar and fear the potential of being stabbed by a ruffian…the lefty is the jacket to wear.
-
@Mizmazzle I regret tapering my 634ibs so much!
-
@kojimastreets dang. Yeah man. Sometimes the learning curve can be sharp. I’ve def made some denim decisions I regretted. Probably will happen again too. How narrow did you have them altered?
-
@Mizmazzle dude!! Looks awesome on you. So happy the shirt went to someone that's gonna enjoy it. Fits you better than it fit me!!

@Mizmazzle somewhere between 8 and 9”. Closer to 8, I think. I picked them up several years ago at Iron Heart Osaka and thought I could make them into 888s. Came out super goofy looking but I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who notices
.Never again!
-
@NickD I’m into those double knees, you like?
-
Not to jump in, but I also have them. really great. on the lighter weight side but in a good way
-
@68degreesorless as @northsouthdenimguy says, they're a (in comparison to IH) lighter weight option, and a roomy straight fit without being baggy. I wear them quite a bit and they seem to be wearing well so far.
-
@pechelman I’m pretty stoked about it!!
-
@Mizmazzle that's crazy how it developed these creases in a day. Reminds me of my 16 oz black denim western. 361.
-
@FlavourFade I did dampen the crease side of the sleeve with a bit of water to help set them. But even the shoulders and body of the shirt have taken shape at a pace that is bonkers.
-
@Mizmazzle the difference in just one day is astonishing. I wondered yesterday if you’d overshot on the sizing up and held my counsel. Now I know my first impressions were wrong. Looks great and I’m sure it’ll only get better.
