Champ flannel

-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot that's actually the Heath flannel, amirite @northsouthdenimguy ?
-
@guiltyparty Champ call, Champ!
Either way it’s MINT….

I am convinced their slub #8 is my favorite t shirt. It's just perfect. I picked up another in Osaka last month and was really sad their flannels don't really fit me right because they are really nice. I'm interested to try one of their cardigans but didn't see any in the store. Anyone have one?
-
I love their slub tees as well, I've got 2 #8s and a #7 short sleeve indigo henley.
-
I’ve got a # 7 indigo and it’s the thickest T-shirt I’ve ever owned. Really nice.
-
@pechelman I have a couple of their linen cardigans (fantastic stuff - love them), but none of the cotton single rib ones….
Also a big fan of their slub tees. Not sure if you’ve given them a shot, but the Samurai Cotton Project tees are similar (in my mind) - and I probably prefer them a wee bit more (especially the natural, and love the henley).
-
Thanks @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot
I dont have one of those from samurai but have one of their aged cotton rasen? shirts that's also very nice but prefer the UES.I may go ahead and order one of the single ribs and will report back if so.
-
@pechelman sweet! Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I have one Samurai rasen (the SJST25-106), and also prefer the UES slub. Don’t give up on the project tees, though….

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot I Decided to get that single rib cardigan and really dig it. It feels about the same weight as the IH 11oz tee fabric but very breathable and obviously more textured. It came out of the bag feeling ultra washed to where you could hear the cotton fiber creaking when stretched. I'm a solid size 4 in their no8 tees and went down to a size 3 for a slim fit and glad I did. It's just right. The fabric has some limited stretch but the reinforcing tape limits it in places and the fabric itself goes under tension quickly. Once it stretches though, it feels set and is inelastic.
I also managed to try a samurai cotton project shirt. It's nice but I'm still favoring the ues 8 for the for fit and fabric. The samurai is more nicely constructed for sure though.
In relation to the thread topic I made a last minute trip to Blue owl today and came back with an amundsen shirt. Really just amazing fabric and the cut is really great for me. Also sized down to a 3. Hoping there's no shrink in the width like their tees.

@pechelman MINT

Just received my UES Tricotine shirt that they just released at end of 2025. No one really can describe how thick that shirt is until you feel it in person. Between that heavy fabric and that amazing dark indigo I can only imagine what a mess that’s gonna make when eventually you wash it. Lol in the meantime, I need to wear the hell out of it.
-
@jimcord - been after one for ages. Didn’t know they had released them. Where did you snag it from?
-
I don’t think they released them yet. At least not on their webpage.
-
A few shops on Buyee / Rakuten have them already
-
Any one link me up, can’t find anything but not much good at using the Japanese sites!
-
@northsouthdenimguy looks awesome. I was gifted this flannel for Christmas and I love it so much.
-
@jimcord I just started wearing mine! Bought one a year and a half ago and finally decided 2026 was the year I'd try to fade it. You're so right. Such a fun shirt.
PS - How you liking that hoodie!?
-
I am absolutely loving it, the thickness of it is fantastic and I never ever tired of looking at that terrific blue enough that I ordered the T-shirt of the same blue. I have the flannels of that blue and now of this new shirt I swear if I could get underwear that color blue I would as well lol well, I guess I could wash wash some white ones with it and that would take care of that
