Hey yall,
This is my first post to the forum. Love Iron Heart products, don't own any yet though, not for the lack of want though. As of now Lee 101 are what are in my rotations.

Here is  a picture of my 5 year old Nocona Legacy boots. Started off a grayish color and over time turned the most gorgeous dark brown.

I have a pair of Beck's full custom on the way. 12" Shaft and a 1 3/4" heel with a natural leather sole. Going to be saddle leather upper and vamp. Until then these will have to do. They need resoled bad, holes in each at the ball of the foot.

Getting some interesting longitudinal striation in my thorogood horsehide boots. It's slight but you can see in this pic.

Beck Boots from Amarillo, did a custom order. Very happy with the experience, they get some cool horween leathers in as well. Right now they have a heavyweight Horween Driftwood leather I am drooling over.

Yeah Im indifferent about it, pretty sure they wouldn't hesitate to put a natural material there if requested. Its the spur ledge so I am sure there is a reason they opt for that material, they seem very utilitarian in general.

As it turns out, this particular last is the most versatile across [all?] of Vibergdom, IMO.  The shape of the toe allows more forefoot access.  A great feature for true E-E+ folks like me.

Though not as sleek as 2030, 1035 unstructured & partially structured has lower profile toe …even the fully structured toe is still lower, as compared to 2040/2045/110/310.  As such, aesthetics work on both__ more casual make up__ as well as rugged, work-inspired urban steez ... like the Boondockers.  Of course, for [[b]real] outdoorsy or work-related activities, I still would much prefer the comfort of a 110 or 2045 … just saying

Toe-to-toe comparison between the 2005 1st & 2nd versus the 1035:  2005s are unstructured & 1035s are partially structured.

If I'm a 8EE in White's and Red Wings, what size should I order in the 1035 last?  any thoughts @BrownIcon?
