Hey Super I just got mine today and I have to say this is one serious jacket. Tough denim and has the appearance of being just that TOUGH! I got a 2x and its snug. Buttoned I can only see myself using a t-shirt or thin sweater maybe. my girlfriend says it fits really well but I'm not used to wearing snug anything. I'm afraid if I change it for a 3x then it will be too long. The jacket is impeccable and I love it!  If your thinking of getting one pull the trigger! You won't be disappointed.  Will post up pics soon.

Congrats, Shark. I hope the fit works out for you. I wore mine under my Engineer Garments Northwood jacket and it felt like the left trucker was going bust through it like the hulk!

on size 38 = 21.4 p2p,  what's approx post-wash measurement @chest?  … sz 40 seems, too big for me.

It has already been washed, but that thing is so stuffed with indigo, you'll still get transfer…..

Inside out gentle wash @30C.  Try not to spin too fast.  Don't tumble.

I think its probably easier to pull off if the denim is at different stages of wear…
If the denim on the jeans and jacket looks identicle i dont think that is a good look personally!

Agreed.

For me, the perfect look is denim and tan. So I got a pointer chore coat to go with my IHs.

If I wore khakis/tan pants more often, I would definitely buy a type III in denim.

Maybe you should consider the superblack or OD type 3 instead. I have both the OD and the black duck (now extinct) type 3 and they go perfectly with blue denim.

I have the black duck which i love!
But i just think a jacket like this lefty trucker is super timeless… And that creates huge appeal for me!
I might have to branch out to different material for pants to solve this issue.
