maybe the guys that wanna do deposits could just start sending g 200 every pay check. then g and p can decide what to do with the cash
Paula and I talked about this. We are not a bank. People who have money lodged, feel they should get first dibs. What happens when they have a fiscal crisis and want to pull all their money. Honestly this is major overhead.
g sorry that didnt come across right then
i posted it as a joke
hence the smiley faceIt has been suggested before and Paula and I have talked about it earlier today (before reading your post). I thought that it was a great idea until Paula pointed out the pitfalls.

The point is.
Believe me, I spend almost every waking moment worrying about how to make the whole Iron Heart experience better for you. There are things that I hate happening; like running out of stock, but the only way to solve that (surveys will not, I can 100% assure you of that) is to order too many. So, I order too many, you all get what you want, I have stock that I need to flog cheap, my margins fall, so prices have to go up. Not a good solution.

i think the only real answer is that you guys do the best job you can and theres no need for improvement
if you know there is a few things coming up youre after the responsibility is on that person to alot the funds needed to make sure theyre ready when everything drops
i personally have a envelope i keep cash in for these purchases and add and take from it as needed -
Ponyboy312, that hoodie you posted is 5 years old, so pretty much sold out/extinct

Nor did I mention committee design, I suggested lined or not or both, since this is the topic of this thread atm, one tick in one box - you'd know. And I would not say yes to a product on a survey if I didn't like it, you know that, and to suggest everyone else would is quite staggering. We are not fly fishing, the customer is always right, you cannot sell what we do not want, you asked for suggestions, listen. Is my suggestion.

Mr. G, can you get me one of these from the Japan store?
Where do you get the pics from?
The Take5 website (from a cross-post in the History of IH thread)

Monday SAVE!!!

Thanks Monday. In all seriousness though, it ain't broke. Giles and Paula do an amazing job and have unparalleled customer service. Not everyone is going to get every piece they want all of the time. That's just the way it goes. If you miss something then you missed it. I promise the sun will still come up tomorrow.

I really agree. It's kind of what makes my grail items feel like grail items. If you could just buy them, it wouldn't be the same. Still would love an 11 or 43…
-
I get no extra joy from knowing other's are jealous of my possession (in fact i wish everybody would have the chance to own the items he yearns for), but I do get a lot of joy of owning stuff. That's my point - I still prefer owning an item over not owning it.

It's not about relishing that you have a coveted item; it's about accepting life not being an all you can eat buffet of whatever you want.
