      @Cymro Looks good to me.

FWIW I have the same issue - a 5 is baggy (they often call them oversized) and a 4 not quite baggy enough. I have decided to not worry to much and just enjoy - fabrics are always amazing

You can always shrink in the wash too. My Buzz Rickson chambray was too big and now fits perfect.

Wondering if there are any real OrSlow nerds on here that can shed some light on this.

Interesting situation: I ordered two size 5 black pocket tees from Stuart’s London and received them today with some noticeable differences.

One is exactly like the black pocket tee I’ve had for a year or two:

          • Stitched-in OrSlow patch inside the collar
          • Embroidered Japan island logo on the back of the neck
          • Care tag sewn into the side seam
          • Larger fabric loop where the hang tag attaches

          The other has:

          • Printed/stamped OrSlow neck branding instead of the sewn patch
          • No Japan island embroidery on the back of the neck
          • No care tag in the side seam
          • Smaller fabric loop where the hang tag attaches

Everything else seems very similar. The fabric feels the same, the construction and stitching look comparable, and both came from the same retailer.

What makes it even stranger is that I own quite a few OrSlow pieces, including fatigues, other tees, and long sleeve shirts, and I’ve never run across this kind of inconsistency before. Every piece I’ve had has been pretty consistent in terms of labeling and details.

The hang tags, product tags, and SKU numbers all appear to be identical between the two shirts. Ironically, the shirt I’m actually concerned about has the more wrinkled patch that matches other OrSlow pieces I’ve purchased in the past.

I’ve sent an email to Stuart’s as well to see if they have any insight.

Just curious if OrSlow has changed these details over the years, if there are different production runs floating around, or if anyone else has seen this before. Not trying to start a conspiracy theory, just genuinely curious because I’ve never seen this much variation between what should be the same shirt. 🤔

Edit/update: probably just a sample according to Champ at Guilty Party

@AdamJ As to your expectations from earlier in this thread. 😁

Also getting enabled by Giles, I'm going even further down the Orslow rabbit hole. 😂

            Just ordered these:

            And these:

More abysmal WAF's on the way I guess. 😅

@Chibs Did you know that there was no official version of it at the time (Vietnam) so there are many variants. You can find Buzz Rickson doing a Golden version and Real McCoy a John Wayne (similar to Orslow) and Tadpole (slightly bluer) versions.

Non of the shorts go to my size else would have all of them 🙂

@Chibs I meant no official version of tiger stripe. I checked my facts and wasn't entirely correct!

This is a good resource with Gold / Tadpole / John Wayne. Looks like Orslow is nearer Thai late?

I slept on the summer release - had the black summer fatigues in mind but life stuff happened. May still grab the Tiger camp shorts though.

Seen the chatter on tiger stripe—figured I'd chime in, since I've had these Orslow pieces in rotation for some time. Tiger's the standout for me. Summer-friendly breathability, yes, but the ripstop has real heft and a satisfying rigidity—light-years beyond the flimsy mainstream alternatives. Worth noting—the waist gives nearly an inch with wear, so factor that in when sizing.

I also have the Fatigue Slims in deep black, along with the stone wash, for direct comparison. I haven't had the chance to break them in yet, though—I'm curious whether the black will fade toward a white undertone or reveal more of a reddish cast. The hand-feel is noticeably distinct as well, which has me intrigued.

That’s great! So excited for the shorts and shirt. Both are en- rout. Orslow’s ripstop is great for summer. I’ve been wearing that Jungle jacket tons and even in the heat, it’s so light and breathable. Better than wearing sunblock!

The only negative is no inside pockets but then I guess it wouldn’t be a jungle jacket.
