I've only had good experience with the staff at SENY. I've bought a couple pairs of jeans there and they were super helpful with getting the fit that I wanted. And I've had some repairs done too, which they always undercharged me for. Great shop. I wish I had more money to shop there more often. My only complaint would be that they don't stock enough IH stuff!

I can't take anyone who says "prepared to drop a grip" seriously.
And I've never thought NYC especially smelled like shit, just urine and hot garbage. But maybe I haven't been to the good spots.
From urban dictionary
3. grip
$10,000. Named so due to the size of the wad of bills. Unlike a "stack" which is how 10 $100 bills are put together (in a stack), a grip is 10 stacks, only way to hold it is to grip it because its all rolled up.
"Walk around like I got a grip in my pants, yea thats about 10 stacks…" -Young Jeezy -
I didn't say I didn't know what it meant, I said I can't take someone who says it seriously.
Though now that I think about it a bit more, it does seem unlikely that he really went into the store ready and willing to spend ten thousand dollars on denim and chinos. What is that, like 30 pairs?

Only on the Iron Heart forum do we have back to back gushing great reviews from multiple customers going to all four of our stores, then one dude (Seul) who has never been to any of our stores posts three bad reviews which aren't even his. Too damn funny.
To those that had great experiences, we truly appreciate it. I do not think you can get a better experience buying clothing at any other store in America, our stores feel different than other ones because of the environment we create and the way our employees treat our clients. I want you to feel like you can go into the store and just talk about the product, and never feel like you have to buy something or have been a past customer to feel welcome. When we opened in NY almost five years ago we had customer after customer say "you guys don't fit in here" in that we were too nice compared to other NY retailers, too welcoming, actually wanted to help. It made me realize how different our retail environment is compared to others, so with the opening of SELA and SEPDX we went further and designed the stores to be places that felt even more like a store you wanted to hang out in, and not just shop. Hope that worked, and hope to see you all again.

Seriously no disrespect meant towards Kiya or SE… He must've read my post a bit too quickly, maybe he had just burnt his toast... I posted these reviews in jest, knowing people would prove those guys wrong!.. No slandering in mind, at all!..
Anyhow: how about a Self Edge Lokeren, Belgium?.. I know it doesn't have that ring to it as say SE New York, but think about it...

No disrespect taken, it just seemed like odd timing during a positive party.

Yeah I knew I was gonna have to follow up on my post to make sure it wasn't gonna come over as a personal attack… I've been known to not think things through, Kiya...
(And you wouldn't happen to have any spoilers of the upcoming SExIH collab jeans ey?.. For the IH forum?.. We won't share with anyone else, pinky swear!..)

I look forward to SE visits in the future. Have had nothing but positive experiences online, and I've been kind of a handful at times.

the Belgian is an odd one, loves farm animals & chocolates. doesn't eat meat & will educate you on porn & beer.
I do love seul

+1, Seul is one of the better pig-human hybrids I've happened across.

I've never had anything but a great experience when shopping at SELA. It's the only store I've been to where the staff goes out of their way to help you, and then when it comes to trying stuff on – and making the purchasing decision -- they completely give you your space. It's the most comfortable retail experience I know of. I have recommended visits to several friends, and strangers, who ask where I bought my clothes.

The new collab that we're doing with IH is going to be awesome. The fabric is a new 20oz unsanforized LHT denim with a gray weft that feels great and is the perfect combination of a heavy weight and wearability (which has become very important us).
We're releasing three items in that new fabric. A 301s fit, the 633s (a new fit which is a modified 634s with a slightly smaller leg opening), and a modified Type III jacket w/ hand pockets. Should be out late December!
