It came back and it was improved, but still needed tweaking.  This is a really difficult thing to do with photos and phone calls.  I happen to be meeting Steve Toohey the MD of Alexander Leathers in Berlin next Tuesday.  He is going to bring the J100 with him so we can (hopefully) finalise the cut….I am desperate to get this going......

Get an IH/Alexander J100 from me.  You can have it custom built, just as soon as I have finalised the design.  And it'll be a shit load cheaper than a RMcC…

Options, My special goat in Black, Chestnut or Brick Red, or FQHH (vintage probably) lined or unlined.

This is first sample, production will be 2-3 inches longer, but the bottom of the zip will stay where it is:

Feckin BOOM…....

I got "take 3" of the J100 today.

It is made from "crazy steer", which I am seriously not keen on, so I tried it on with some hesitation.

I am seriously, seriously impressed.  The cut is exactly what i was looking for.  It could be made from chicken skin and I would still be in love....

Can't help it.  I did not try it on until I got home last night, I then went straight out for dinner with a customer and typed that post from bed when I got home…..I am still in bed......

Ignore the leather we have used to make this sample, it was just some that Alexander had lying around which we used to make the sample.

The production model will have an extra 2 or so inches in body length, but the zipper will remain the same length as on the sample.

A feature I was insistent upon and I think is well executed is the way the arm seam flows into the curved yoke so it looks like one big seam.

Production choices:

Lined or unlined.

My black goat
My brown goat
Vintage Chrome tanned horse
Veg tanned jerky horse
