not sure if I'm the only one who's happy about it, since I completely forgot about it, so here's just a short word from Mega on the topic of registration:
I am currently in Jakarta, so I could not register anyone anyway. I have answered approximately 2500 messages regarding this comp, and have consistently delivered the message that registration closes on March 1st.
The reason for this may become apparent if all goes to plan, but I am certainly not going to explain myself over the closure date.
Most contests may do this, that, or the other, but no other contest has 250 competitors, speaking 12 different languages, and run over 6 forums. I made the decision that I would administrate this, and that is what I am doing, this is the biggest denim contest ever so it is a fair portion of work.
**I will reopen registration for 7 days from the 11th to the 18th of March (when I am back home), anyone who fails to register in this time will not be able to participate.
That is my final word on registration.**

There's a pretty cool video of the HWDC tshirts being screen printed over on SUFU. Pretty slick. I guess they are being shipped shortly as well.

Just got back from Jakarta, where I got to meet a few former and current competitors, one of our major sponsors (The Denim Vault) and also one of our esteemed judges for Round 2 (Direz Zender), great time and a great denim scene.

The Competition tee's from The Denim Vault will be available for shipping by the end of the month, there has been a minor delay in the natural indigo dye process due to capacity.

Iron Heart have been busting their balls to get the MBB's ready on time, and due to personal intervention at the mill by Haraki-San, it looks like we might be just about ok.

The HWDC website is proving to be extremely problematic, the basic set up is complete but we have a few systems issues. As a back up to this I had always planned that if we could not get this done then I will administrate across the forums using my database. It's going to be more work for me, but it's the only way I can keep the competition rolling for everyone.

For at least the first month of the HWDC, all updates will have to be done across the forums. I will start new HWDC "pic update" threads for people to post their update and "Challenge" pictures in.

Yep, Haraki made a special trip down to Kojima (20 hours riding) to work out with the factory how we get these through in time. It does mean that every other jean I have in production is delayed…...

Backed hard !!!! Haraki has gone above and beyond for us on this one, and I am so grateful for his time, help, and not forgetting what he has lost financially on the lost denim and other expenses. Truly one of a kind

Just swift reminder that balance of payment for the HWDC belts is due on or before March 22nd, and I would prefer not get all the balances on that date if possible.**

do we have a due date for payment for the rest of the MBB's, i just wanna make sure than when the official sizing comes out ( if i just have not seen it yet) , i select the right size and add what i want to hem them to correctly before i pay the remainder

Ok, so here is what is going to happen in the next couple of weeks…..
- MBB's arrive in Gosport.
- MBB's are measured.
- Measurement chart is published across all forums.
- Mme B send email to all who have bought MBB's for payment, sizing and hemming options.
- At CSM on 30/03 and 01/04 jeans are hemmed.
- From 02/04 onwards all MBB's are shipped, with HWDC belts for those who have requested this.
- I get really, really drunk and vow never to do this again (until next time
)
