What sizing recommendation for someone between a 34 and 36 with a waist closer to 35?

If you have measured the way we do

and the waist of the trousers you measure are 35, I would buy a pair of tag 34 and in the comments section of your order,  ask for an actual waist no smaller than 35 and preferably 34.5.
