      Since @Anesthetist is into small watches, I think that this 33 mm Patek will appeal. It's a limited edition with a stainless case and porcelain dial.

      The advert's on Timezone, whilst Hodinkee has a write-up. It's up for grabs at $11,500 with box but no papers.

      I'm not usually a huge PP fan but that really is beautiful.

      Your wife would probably love mine….

        Sadly, she prefers watches with a more complex design.  Hence my failure to get her interested in anything by Nomos.

          @Qinhan you're missing a trick.

          Buy her a Patek, and when she says she doesn't like it, you get to wear it. That way you don't get into trouble for spending too much on a watch. 😉

                Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman Watch, due to be released at Baselworld in a couple of weeks. I'm not normally a fan of Diver's watches, but I quite like it, and figure that a few people might appreciate it.

                  Its neat but the crown is very gimmicky to me. Also the hand set is meh. Not digging the red minute hand and phallic hour hand.

                    The fact that it's 46 mm in diameter also means it's 10 mm too big for you @Anesthetist! 😉

                    I like that it looks a bit cartoony, whereas a lot of watches are way too refined and serious looking. It's not something that I'd buy, but I can appreciate it.

                      I can accept the oddities in the design and the size might be workable, but that date window is just terrible.

                        I think they are making a 42mm version too. Chris brings up a good point about the date window.

                            ^ Recently replaced my Seiko MM300 to this simple watch with no date for a change. I was kinda tired of setting the date all the time, a 1st world problem when rotating watches I guess. 😛

                                Nice one ijpx. I have owned a MM300 and own an Explorer (36mm) and both are excellent for different reasons. However, both are excellently made and are bombproof. Nice buy on the Rolex but don't let the Seiko get dusty!

                                  I'm starting to feel the same way, especially since it seems like so many manufacturers insist on putting the date window at 4:30, which I despise.

                                      I prefer 12 or 6. Just seems to make for a more cleanly balanced dial to me.

                                        I know the layout on my Type III isn't for everyone but it sure makes for great legibility. Case in point, 6 & 12 o clock dates work well.

                                          Generally speaking, the small seconds isn't one of my preferred complications, but that one is really nice.  And I agree- very legible.

                                          EDIT: The more I look at it the more I like it.  This may be my new favorite Sinn.
