      Sticking to the Rolex love-in, there's a barely dressed up press release an article at aBlogToWatch announcing that Rolex will be regulating and certifying all movements to run at an accuracy of between -2 and +2 seconds per day. This is more stringent than Omega's 0 / +5 seconds accuracy.

      So if you're looking for an excuse to buy one..

        Since @Anesthetist is into small watches, I think that this 33 mm Patek will appeal. It's a limited edition with a stainless case and porcelain dial.

        The advert's on Timezone, whilst Hodinkee has a write-up. It's up for grabs at $11,500 with box but no papers.

          It's beautiful and a rarity with the stainless case! I'm 35 now and it's my goal to have one on my wrist by my 40th bday. Thanks for the info, I love reading about hard to find goodies like this!

            I wonder if that means Rolex will be raising prices.  Wait, what was I thinking?  Of course they will.

              Sill have my small gold 1954 Calatrava in the safe doing nothing….

                I'm not usually a huge PP fan but that really is beautiful.

                  Think my balls will fit in the safe too? I will need to hide them from my wife if I buy it anytime soon!

                          @Qinhan you're missing a trick.

                          Buy her a Patek, and when she says she doesn't like it, you get to wear it. That way you don't get into trouble for spending too much on a watch. 😉

                                  Its neat but the crown is very gimmicky to me. Also the hand set is meh. Not digging the red minute hand and phallic hour hand.

                                    The fact that it's 46 mm in diameter also means it's 10 mm too big for you @Anesthetist! 😉

                                    I like that it looks a bit cartoony, whereas a lot of watches are way too refined and serious looking. It's not something that I'd buy, but I can appreciate it.

                                        I think they are making a 42mm version too. Chris brings up a good point about the date window.
