@jiminstitches not for me but I do like that they keep releasing limited leathers. I saw they did a black waxed roughout Blacksmith that somehow went under my radar a while back.

I’m not keen on them either, I’ll have to check those blacksmiths out. I quite like the charcoal rough out mocs

Popped into the RW London store today, came out with these These are a Teacore so I’m looking forward to scuffing these up! They had a new Iron Ranger with a green vibram sole which gets released tomorrow, Preety cool and you can see it on there insta

How are we feeling about these Dusty Rose 6in Moc Toes?

@jiminstitches Hey, just checked them out - wow! Thanks for the heads up. Only 1200 to be made apparently too. Bet you were tempted by those!

Out of interest did you get the teacore shoes in the same sizing as a moc toe boot? How does your
moc toe sizing compare to your IR sizing?

I’m sure those shoes will provide a nice bit of variety to your collection matey

@guiltyparty I had a look at these yesterday, there cool but not for me. They’ll probably sell well, look good with light coloured summer outfit.

@long_john86 yeah they were really nice but I already have the IR in the same leather and as soon as I saw the Moc oxfords I was all in on those! Yep they suggested same sizing (same last), tiny bit of heel slip but they said that should dissapear after a few weeks and if it doesn’t to take them back and they can stitch a small leather cap in the back of the shoe.

So I’m a U.K. 8 in Mocs and 7.5 in iron rangers, IR are slightly bigger I believe, although if I buy another pair I’ll size up to an 8 as I can only wear thin socks with them.

They do the Moc oxfords in the Oro legacy and Hawthorne too. The Oro looked awesome but already have the 875 so would be pointless but I’d of definitely gone for those if I didn’t have the 875.

@jiminstitches that’s really interesting to know about the leather cap in the heel - the value of visiting in person! I’m up north so always have to buy online.
Out of interest I’m 11.5B on Brannock and roll with 11 for both Mocs and IR. Mocs always benefit from a toe box stretch (using Red Wings advised cobbler - £5 - bargain!) and the IRs have plenty of room. I used to roll with 10.5 in IRs, but similarly to yourself, I found I was limited with socks and also rambling downhill I would find my toes right at the end of the toe box.
You also get more for your money with a bigger size

@long_john86 ah mate, I get so confused with Branock, I just don’t seem to understand itthat’s interesting regarding tie box as that’s always a pinch point for a few months with mocs! Thank you
