This is the best fitting jacket I have ever owned, shoulders, sleeves, chest, etc. Hand warmer pockets fall in the right spot for me as well. I feel like it was tailored for me.

monday, thanks. High praise from you as your fits are dead on. As I mentioned above everything about this jacket works especially the sleeves. So glad I got the olive well.

Great fit man. I do love the shoulders. They seem scary small but those pleats open them up. So they really conform to your body nicely.

        Think it, be it.

          Hello,

I'm thinking about getting an IHM-02 Jacket. I really like the style and the details of the jacket, but I'm not sure how the jacket works in rainy weather.

As some other users said, I think the cotton outer will soak in the rain. But will the ventile lining stop the wetness? Has anybody used his jacket in rainy weather an can tell us the experience?

          Best regards
          Felix

^i love this jacket, but its worthless against rain. especially when youre biking - gets totally soaked. the lining is only windproof (and very windproof, if i may say so).

I don't see why one couldn't Scotchgard the jacket though, military folks sometimes do that with the M-65s they're issued.

Steal @ $400.  I love this jacket.  Don't be afraid to wash it, Peter.  I washed it inside out, cold water, gentle spin, mild detergent, hang dry (the usual).  Zero adverse effects.

I wouldn't mind trying to shrink down the sleeves, though I love the fit everywhere else. I paid more than this for a lightly used one (gladly)

i did end up washing it. ballsy enough to wash it in 40 degrees with normal spin cycle as well..;)

edit: no shrinkage occured, or anything else for that matter.. except that it now smells good!

                          edit 2:

it actually did slightly fade and the satin is less shiny. kinda hard to see in this pic though..

Goddamn it. Who bought this? Sell it to me!

Does anyone know what size I would need at around 6'0 and 200lbs?

I normally wear jackets with 18.5" shoulder to shoulder and 22.5 to 23 armpit to armpit.

Damn… I got one in L And this thing is pretty slim. Wearable but I definitely can't layer underneath.

Looks like I'll have to hunt down an XL.

I've given mine a wash in 40 degrees, didn't measure it but from the feel of it I didn't get any shrinkage.
