Everything is better than the smooth leather double lock soles they came with. Dress leather soles wear too fast on me also!

Nope just calf, and Im not too sure about cordovan care but I think Alden makes supplies for that leather.

Balls pulled the trigger on a 8.5d. Definately feels roomier, but maybe  so used my other Barrie's being so tight

Both of mine were special ordered in E width. I found that 8D fit width wise, but felt so long, so I wold them and got the first pair in a 7.5E on a monday, loved them so much, ordered the second pair that friday.

I think they're all sold out now, but they were suiting pants in the Wallace and Barnes line from jcrew. Originally 225.00 but I got them on a sale for 125.00. The quality is amazing.
