Thanks Giles. That's what I assumed. Are the measurements wrong then? 11 inch thigh on size 29 doesn't seem that tight to me. I have the 301s and I'm hoping to get something slimmer in the top block for my next pair. I'm leaning towards the 555 in 18oz indigo.

Dont have any here to double check.  But are you measuring the way we do, which gives the true thigh measurement

Giles, I'm talking about the difference between the thigh measurements on the 666 and 555 cuts on the Iron Heart site. According to your measurements the 18oz 666 has a smaller thigh than the 18oz 555 I. Size 29. That's why I'm confused

just measured.
the waist stretched to a comfy 36.5" and the thighs to 13"!
that´s +1" in the waist and +0.5" in the thighs…
