Hey gang. I realized I’ve been on this board for a good few months so far, and have not introduced myself. I got introduced to IH through my friends at Guilty Party, in Atlanta, on a work trip. (Sick name drop, I know). I haven’t made my first purchase yet, because I’m making my first trip to Japan and will be hitting at least the Osaka store, and maybe outside of Tokyo with time permitting.
I’ve been doing tons of research to find what will be the best cut for me, and will be heading home to Atlanta this weekend to hopefully trying a few different cuts at GP. I know the cuts/sizes will be a bit different from those in Japan, but hoping I can get an idea of what will fit my frame (5’8 and +/-155lbs). If there are any threads I should check out to help in my studies, please let me know.
As far as denim goes I’ve had: 14.5 oz Raleigh Denim from Cone Mills (from right here in Greensboro, NC) that lasted the better part of a decade, Wingman 14oz indigo, Levi 501 STF and a few others. But stoked to step to some heavy hitters soon. Really hoping to use this upcoming Japan trip to my advantage for Japanese denim, and hit all the shops I can.
Beyond denim, I’m a photographer (used to do it professionally, now it’s back to being my favorite thing), love lifting, getting tattooed, and traveling with my wife.

@Mister_Brue It’s my wife and I’s first time. We spent a bit of yesterday planning out the extra bag situation. We’re doing Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto as our mainstays with some day trips planned. I have a banger of a list for shops to check out. Just fingers crossed I’m able to find my size in the cuts I’m looking for. Either way, it’s going to be a blast.

As an ironheart fan since 2014 having purchased two pair of jeans and two jackets, i am now “collecting” the uhf, quickly accumulating 4 pieces and a waffle workshirt that is on its way.

I am 11 pieces of the fine IH clothing in and figured it was time to join the forum as i am sure we are all as passionate about the products as i have become, and find great topics here specific and general to each piece and each new release. I'm Olli from Helsinki, Finland. Been into the IH-game for a few years now, and slowly fallen in love with the brand and the exquisite products more and more. Have a few nice pieces already and increasing the inventory slowly but steadily!
Finally decided to join the forum, after being an avid reader for a while now. Mostly because I just purchased some UHR for the first time and have some serious questions about the break & wear process of these (but this is a topic for another thread).
