Yeh mate, I'm thinking a wash too. Looks a little big at the moment, especially in the arms.

Make that three votes. If you get it just a touch smaller, it will look great.

@Chiba:
A jacket that's too big for you and smells like ass. Yes. A wash may be in order.
And done. Just put it in the tub inside out with warmish water and gave some mild agitation. Not sure if it's enough to get all of the shrink out but the MF site has me afraid of marbling. If I get just a little sleeve shrink, I'll be a happy man. But to be honest I had the ass smell fixed ASAP

Got just a little shrinkage, mostly in the chest and shoulders. I may throw all caution into the wind at the end of the season and give it a gentle machine wash. As it is, I like the way it fits. It has form but it doesn't constrict motion. I really can't believe how warm it is for being just moleskin. It's about 34* here and I took a long walk and was toasty all the way. It also deflects the snow pretty well.

Someone's wife might have ordered a navy skipper jacket on sale from Pancho & Lefty for her hubby as a surprise gift. Fortunately her hubby watches the credit card statements

I think it looks great on you. I think some of the more period style wear can be tough to pull off but it looks like you nailed it. Also much respect to your dad and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

The jacket looks great Bluegrass!

Murder mystery dinner, aka a reason to wear my indigo vest & mulholland jacket.

I just acquired a Faro Sack Coat, navy corduroy… hard to take pics.
This is my dad's "real" U.S. Navy watch cap from his service in the early 1950s. RIP Dad, 1933-2014.
Good fit on you Bluegrass, and it's good you have something you can use everyday that reminds you of your father. I'm sorry for your loss.
