Got just a little shrinkage, mostly in the chest and shoulders. I may throw all caution into the wind at the end of the season and give it a gentle machine wash. As it is, I like the way it fits. It has form but it doesn't constrict motion. I really can't believe how warm it is for being just moleskin. It's about 34* here and I took a long walk and was toasty all the way. It also deflects the snow pretty well.

Agree it looks good, easy to layer, and you don't ever have to worry if you do wash it that it will be too small.  Great score you made there.

Post-wash fit looks that little bit tighter, very nice!

Someone's wife might have ordered a navy skipper jacket on sale from Pancho & Lefty for her hubby as a surprise gift. Fortunately her hubby watches the credit card statements 🙂

I think it looks great on you. I think some of the more period style wear can be tough to pull off but it looks like you nailed it. Also much respect to your dad and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

Thanks guys, I agree it's different - but I figured anything with fabric this beautiful will speak for itself - I'm just along for the ride.  A bonus - it is surprisingly warm…..

Yeah it's a great fit/look on you. Great to see you being able to remember your father in your current dress. A little bit of him is with you at all times.

Thanks @Snowy - so true.  This cap is the "real deal" - amazing how quality endures.  He wore this cap all the time in the cooler weather, with his trademark "triple roll".  Now it's mine - and it is a very fond memory.

@summ3rhays did you size the vest the same as the jacket?

@Bluegrass  The vest is a 42 L and the jacket is a 44 XXL. Most of my MF and IH shirts are XL.

The Okinawa CPO was good, but is getting great. After a good wash, it fits better than ever and is finally getting somewhat soft. Also, you can't see it here, but some light blue flecks are popping up around the elbow combs and pits. One of my favorite shirts this year.
