Definitely. That jungle cloth and the corduroy lining look pretty damn amazing….I love the really casual look too reminds me of something my grandpa might wear hahaha

No prob. He got back to me on FB. I'm thinking about putting zippers on the shafts of my Wescos and switching out the buckles. Just thinking about it, not sure if I'm gonna do it.

Just got my Road Champs back from Willie's Shoe Service. They narrowed the shafts to fit my skinny legs. Couldn't be happier with these!

btw. are there different pairs (different leathers
) of MFRC's? just thought i should ask since the ones i tried on yesterday were a fair amount brighter!

Rafa you tried on the ones from the very first batch afaik, the color of the leather may vary from each production run a bit, however they should get darker by wear and tear. Some treat em with products

Also, I've treated mine with Pecard's which darkened them up a bit. They were lighter when I got them. I'm not sure which batch mine are from. I called and they were out of my size and then they called me back because they had a shipment that never went out or something. I've seen some that look almost black.

Raul at Willie's did a great job. I wouldn't even know that they had been altered, except the shafts are much narrower. I shipped them from NY to LA to have it done, but it was worth it.

Any thoughts on using black polish on the lighter ones guys?  I like the dark color and think the nuance of a paler boot peeking out from a dark polish might look cool.

my first pair is considerably lighter as well.  I tried the black polish like Christophe's but couldn't get it to hold well on the leather. I may saddle soap it off when i get them back and try the pecards.
