I thought they looked familiar @worn2fade
I just got a pair of Mekila. They look the shit. However, I am struggling with breaking them in. How was your experience?
-
@Bridger heck yeah dude! Mine are the mekila high character so we twinning. Yours are black too?
& dude break it process wasn’t horrible BUT these sandals run much smaller than their other sandals. Like honestly, these just barely fit me. I wear a 10 in all sandals and these are also a 10 and my foot basically fits PERFECT in them. No extra space.

They look good @worn2fade

Question for yall.
I just picked up a pair of s510xx25oz-sp and they are probably me best fitting jeans I currently have. This is my first time though with unsanforized one wash denim. Should I do a cold/warm soak of around 30mins to try and get the last of the shrinkage out? Include an additional cold wash after and air dry? This is my first time with anything this heavy as well.
Just wondering what the general consensus is for these as I do not want to start wearing them and then get to washing and next thing I know the length has shortened and I get fade lines that move on me because of it. That is the primary concern. I believe the waist will tighten up a little but that is fine for me if they are a little tight as they will stretch back out to my normal waist size.
Am I over thinking it and I should just start wearing them?

@Ral1121. They have been washed so most of the shrinkage is gone. If you like them just the way they are, when it's time to wash them just wash them with cold water and no spin. You will not experience any more shrinkage. In my opinion you can go ahead and start wearing them. And definitely no dryer. Just hung dry

Looks good! How does the weight feel on this? Very cool color variation.

@RubyRae It’s 10oz and feels like it, midweight, not as hefty as UHF and not as light as a chambray.
