IHSH-437-IND - 13.5oz Dobby Cloth CPO Shirt - Indigo
-
Got the first one they put out at Berkeley Supply. Couldn't resist the fabric when I saw it, although it feels like it could shrink with the wrong laundry approach. Fit is in line with the other UFH/CPOs in the lineup out of the box, though
-
The fact this stuck around a few places is making it so hard to not buy...
-
@dbj316
Do the copper fasteners go all the way up to the neck? From the "normal" picture, I thought the shirt had a "normal" button closure at the top button. -
I'm really thinking about getting one of these. I just picked up the Dobby short-sleeved mechanic shirt. Besides being a CPO and long-sleeved, is it pretty much similar to the short-sleeved mechanic shirt?
-
@johnfredmurray I think only this one is made with the new mexican cotton (first use of this fabric), not the short sleeves one
-
@Slash Thank you!
-
@dbj316 this was the one I wanted more than anything but the numbers didn’t seem to be right for me. The XXL seemed a tad too small and the arm length for the XXXL kept me from pulling the trigger too. I’m spewing as it looks awesome
-
@dbj316 Yeah this shirt should have come with copper snaps from the start; it really looks so much better. Question - was the male side of the snaps on the shirt you upgraded left silver?
-
-
@indigo_fades yes sir, it's still silver.
-
@dbj316 they have 2 different types of copper snaps. I noticed this on my kersey western. They’re different from what come out directly.
-
@dbj316 Ah

Thanks for letting me know -

I think it looks badass as it comes from IH, but it would be awesome if black metal snaps the size of the copper snaps became an option down the road…cough @Alex …cough @Giles

Minimum quantity is off the scale.....
-
@Giles it would be interesting to see how they did in a limited run. I bet they’d fly.

I meant, the minimum quantity of snaps. From memory it is about 5,000....
So, roughly 350 shirts with some spares for repairs

Let’s make it happen Army

I got a chance to try on this amazing shirt at BlackBlue this week. The fabric is really cool, the texture really stands out.
HOWEVER, one thing that kept me from taking it home was how "flared out" the collar is when the shirt is unbuttoned. I really didn't like this for some reason. For $450 I gotta LOVE a product like this. The shirt looked great buttoned up, but I didn't dig how it looked while unbuttoned up top around the collar.
Seems like a small nitpick, but at $450 USD i'm gonna nitpick lol. Killer piece though.

I sewed mine up
