For me the new set up of the stripes looks totally wrong. Almost as odd as with the purple shirt.

Yeah, but they measure the shirts, right? So do they have only one sample?

@jshop pre production and the answer is yes. Once the shirts are shipped to IHUK, they are measured by the staff and the measurements chart is posted.

Sad. Removing my calendar entry for this shirt, too. Hope autumn will bring some fresh purple wonders with correct stripes. Like all the other shirts before.

@jshop yes. The sample is a one-off pre-production. The measurements are taken once IHUK has received the finished production run

Typically samples are run in L. That is Haraki's size (and by happy happenstance mine too), making them in a common size that works for H, allows him to properly assess sizing and any sizing tweaks that are required..

And how the stripes fall in the end product is a function of the size of the shirt. Getting the stripes/pattern to fall exactly in the same place on different sizes is impossible without wasting a shit ton of fabric. Saying that these differ from previous shirts is tautological, of course they do, it's a different pattern....
