IHSH-443-IND - 7oz Cotton Linen Chambray Work Shirt - Indigo
-
Can we confirm it is indeed 55% cotton and 45% linen as described. See in Japan it’s 65% cotton and 35% linen
I know sometimes there are differences in the western driven version but making sure. Hoping it’s accurate and western version is more linen.

The Western version is described as 65% cotton/ 35% linen.

@IrishHeart I’m talking about the western culture version. Giles and crew will do variations because the demand from western culture is different than the eastern culture. I am talking about the work shirt not the western cut.

@pechelman The warp yarns are indigo-dyed cotton and paired with a light grey linen weft, making the fabric as a whole 65% cotton and 35% linen

Thanks for the updates info!
Just noticed that IH Germany still has the old info in their product page. Doesn’t bother me, but might be confusing.

Me likey the white flecks in close up shots. Hmmm....

Hell yeah. Been waiting on this one. This plus the restock of the 1213 is gonna make next week expensive.

Being not sure if a S or M would be best fit, would it be ok to order one of each and keep the best fit?
-
@goosehd I thought that was the case but overthinking got in the way!
Thanks -
Fabric looks almost neppy in some pictures? Is that the case?
-
@goosehd any estimate on what it costs (approximately) to return a single shirt from US to UK?
I am between two sizes as well and wondering if its worth the return shipping cost to try both. If it's ~$15 USD then yes. If it's closer to $30 probably will just go with the Medium
-
@blue2gnt Last I checked it was $35 for return shipping from the States.
As a side note, I tried to order two different sizes of a shirt late last year, and the team got back to me and strongly encouraged me to use the chart to try and select my best fitting shirt, as they're now paying the Duty/Tariffs for the US bound shipments (and couldn't afford to continually send two sizes if one was coming back for sure). This was totally understandable for me, and luckily I chose the right one. Not sure if this is still the policy, but thought I might pass that along.
Good luck on the sizing!
