The inspiration for the first Iron Heart flannel?

Also remind me: isn't the hand of the old one slightly denser, more akin to a warehouse or UES unbrushed mid weight? I love the IH brushed...but I do long for them to do one, same weight, unbrushed for those of us that don't like comfort and prefer suffering in shirt and jean.
It was a 10oz flannel rather than a 12oz, which we now use. It was then overdyed post construction to increase the density of the fabric (which we also did with the anny, but that started off as 12oz)

@Giles there were quite a few really wonderful pieces from this era as I recall, and a couple of mine are still around. There's a grey-dominant with white/blue brushed uhw that I think is from maybe 2013, and a Triple works lightweight indigo herringbone western that's possibly earlier than that. You lot started hitting homerun after homerun and I've been following the seasonal drops ever since!

These?

2009So maybe the IHSH-01 was earlier than 2010. I just went on when the thread was created, but in the early days we created threads for stuff retroactively to try and complete the story....

@Giles hah! Yeah that's it. IHSH-11...that was a while ago. I'm impressed it still fits as that shirt has seen me through my entire 30's and into my 40's.
-
@Giles and you know what? I misspoke. Mine is an indigo glen plaid, not the herringbone. Though I did have that shirt ages ago as well!

-
@Giles that's the one! An epic shirt to be sure.
-
@Matt it's glorious! 3W had some real heat back then.

Did a small just hit grailed??

@jfk1117 beautiful! Wasn't that part of a trio at one point? I seem to remember a green and a black. Both of which are in my closet I think
-
Upon reflection, I think I'm thinking of the 117. One of the pros here can confirm

107 is similar, and had red, black, and green variants @StarsSuck . Also a classic.
-
@sabergirl that's it. I was close. Of my entire collection of new flannels, this oldie is my wife's fav:

I love the 11, too. Your wife has good taste, @StarsSuck . I’ve got the green and red color ways of that one, but not the blue (yet).
