Where does everyone live?

Hello all,

Johnathon here from Melbourne Aus. Got my first good denim jeans in 1972. I can still remember it well, everyone thought I was crazy spending that much on a pair of jeans. As a kid I really loved those jeans. Lasted me for years and years they did, they were well worth it. Been wearing good denim jeans ever since, even right through a period a fair while ago where everyone was telling me it's nerdy to wear jeans… there outta fashion and all that BS they said. Never worried me, just kept going with the same old stuff.

I'm sixty now and for the first time thinking I'm gonna deviate from my regular brand. Looking around at what's about and it's amazing really. The variety and styles these days.

Looking at some Iron Hearts and just trying to get a handle on all the cuts and styles

Hyattsville MD. Also known as the Arts District. Busboys and Poets seems to be the most creative place around, for the poets and literature crowd. They have an arts festival every year but it rained this past year so I didn't make it…

Just ordered my first pair of IH jeans (555N) which is supposed to arrive tomorrow - can't wait!

I got into high quality stuff after @Axel dragged me into a bunch of stores in NYC, the Midwest, Germany and San Francisco showed me the value of good quality over cheap prices.

I'd be happy about any suggestions/ recommendations on brands or stores that carry clothes, shoes or accessories for women since I have a hard time filling up my wardrobe - and as a girl I need a greater selection than only one pair of jeans and one shirt
