RE:LOVE - Repurposed — Iron Heart, Reimagined
When denim is too far gone to wear again, we repurpose it into something else entirely — right here in-house. Using only unsellable Iron Heart denim, we create a growing range of slow-crafted, small-batch goods such as coasters, keyrings, wristlets and hats.
Cut and stitched in our UK workshop using original Union Special, Kansai and Singer machines, these pieces carry the soul of the jeans they came from — reworked, not wasted.IH-RELOVE-SCW - Single Cuff Wristlet
Handmade from recycled selvedge denim offcuts, these single-cuff wristlets are chainstitched for durability, and secured with a heavy-duty Iron Heart copper snap fastening. Please note that each wristlet is unique, showcasing the fades and character of the repurposed denim. As a result, fading, colour, and denim weight may vary from the images shown.

Excited for the coasters! Awesome to see all these. Also, I see “hats” in the description!
@AdamJ Any idea when these will be on the site?

WE NEED MORE DENIM (and fabric)

@Danimal506 …and bags and more!
-
@Alex it would be cool to gift something made from the denim to the former owner. Even if they can’t wear the jeans anymore, they can keep a piece of their journey.
-
Wow
Great Job
-
@Lynne Very exciting to hear!!
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot i think that tracking the owner down to each finished product would be more overhead than you imagine, when you factor in the smaller items like keychains, etc
-
This is so freaking cool!!! LOVE those coasters.
Honestly, this gives me motivation to send in my old jeans too!!@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot that’s a really cool idea!! Guess it’s more complicated than is feasible. But brilliant none the less.
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot that would be cool but they do compensate for the jeans they take. I was able to shave off a bit of $ from a new pair of UHR for my old ones.
-
@Mizmazzle that’s great to hear! Mission accomplished
I did start by putting labels on each piece of fabric to try and track the original jeans as I really like that idea, but very soon ran out of steam as the labels became tinier and tinier.
It may be possible in the future to do bespoke items, but not right now. We’ll bed in first, gauge reaction and go from there

@Oaktavia yeah, man! I’ve RE:LOVEd a couple things, imagine I’m about to consider a few more. Such a cool project with donations being made, as well - everyone involved should be proud.
