IHSH-425-OLV - 8oz Military Whipcord CPO Shirt - Olive

@Tobi @Mister_Brue Looks like a completely different shade of green to me!

Hi, I have the 381 too, and I’m wondering how does this one stands in terms of warmth, and how breathable it is ?
I’m not familiar with whipcord fabric only from the N-1 I’ve got, but it’s a different world I guess. -

I attend to use it for spring and late summer where I live (Central Europe), and I was wondering how the whipcord fabric compare to the 381.

I know, the emoji was intended to get an answer from @ShopatIronHeart or @Alex. (but they are very busy today)

@jthomz @endo Being a whipcord, it's woven a little tighter than the serge of the 381. In terms of warmth and breathability, they're both relatively lightweight (for us, anyway!) cotton fabrics, so I don't think you'll notice much between them — but at a push, the whipcord may be a little more windproof/less breathable.
I'd say the whipcord also feels smoother and a little stiffer. And not forgetting, it's reactive-dyed, meaning it will be more fade-resistant than the sulphur-dyed serge. Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot Sam !

Excited for this, not as many whipcord shirts.

Hi
I find it beautiful especially paired with black denims. It's a light weight and I m honestly a bit confused as where it would fit in my wardrobe. Would it pair well with heavy weight black denim like a 21 SBG bottom or a XHSIB bottom? Or the pairing wouldnt make sense? Thank you -
@magnajeremie here is a link to the model wearing this shirt with dark denim. Maybe it will help you in your decision: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/925150

@goosehd Absolutely I saw it and it looks great; my question wasnt necessraily about dark denim, but very heavy denim. Would u pair this light weight cpo with heavy denim (21 oz and xhs) or would it be awkward? thx

@magnajeremie You can definitely mix and match weights as you would like. I’ve worn UHF (heavy flannels with shorts), lightweight shirts and t’s with XHS, and every combination in between.
Really nothing preventing it.
