@Choko I was thinking exactly the same.
I think what got me confused was the details section mentioning "which can be pimped with a choice of alternative ‘heavy-duty’ snaps". I have no idea why I thought that meant that GAH snaps could not be applied here.
I'd surely do a GAH snap rather than a copper one.

Guys, guys, come on, I just asked in a different post that you don't make anything cool for a while and now this. How am I going to break the news to my wife about this one?
Any ideas on how this fabric patina's in the black? I can't say I have seen it before. I tried the work shirt out in the serge fabric and the shirt was amazing but the material wasn't really comfortable to wear (for me in particular, I'm sure you're all harder than me) but in a jacket I think it's going to be perfect.

I'm pretty sure its reactively dyed, so it wont fade, but we are going to double check with Japan.

Stop it, that made it even better. Any first impressions on the size from the sample? Is it going to be cut like the previous versions? I never tried one on but they seemed to be larger than the N1. Did everyone end up sizing down on this last time?

@BalticBob Just to confirm @Alex's comment, the serge and whipcord fabrics used for deck jackets are reactive-dyed, meaning they won't fade/patinate the way a sulphur or rope-dyed fabric does

@SamD @Alex Noice! Thank you very much for the confirmation. Looking forward to the measurements on these one. The black A2 might be one of the best looking Jackets I have ever seen; Dehen 1920 did a really nice one last year and I'm very excited to see you guys doing it this year. Definitely adding this one!

Ha. I live in LA too and just came back from Japan with an N1 an A2 and another coat from Real McCoy's. Suffice to say, I haven't worn any of them yet and will probably end up buying this black one too. Currently 76F at night... It's craziness.

How does the serge fabric compare to the whipcord? I’ve never handled serge before.

Alex how do you think the serge will wear compared to the whipcord? Stiffness and all around durability wise?

Question about the way you measure your clothes, as the “chest part size”. Is the measures you list, by the inside or from the outside of the jacket?

I’m not sure about the lining thickness, so I have no idea if I can button the jacket with a flannel underneath (my chest measurement when buying shirts is 59 cm). I want to be able to close the jacket, but I’m also not interested in something that’s too big.
It would be easier if I could try the jacket on with a flannel underneath, but that depends on whether Brund in Copenhagen will get the jacket ; otherwise, I’m left relying on the size guide
