Hair loss --

I have a scar that runs across my whole head so always been worried about losing mine. Could be rad when I’m older but too hard to explain in business. Did the prescription based drops when the normal front and back middle started thinning. It worked but got ED. Prefer boners to hair. Since I used natural nutrafol. Doesn’t get fuller but seems to stall the process.

@T4920 all the men on the moms side of my family are much older with full heads of hair. Not me

My hair thinned young. At 25 I started buzzing it. If I did my hair perfect it looked good, but anything but perfect it looked really thin. Started with a 2 on the clippers every couple weeks, down to a 1 every week, to age 30 shaving it 2-3 times a week with an electric razor. I like the skullshaver pitbull that I use--works good dry or wet.
I do miss having hair on top of my head sometimes, but I got a lot of hair everywhere and usually have a beard. And hair or no hair I've always worn ball caps, but I make sure to where them in the sun now.

Is there any truth that wearing hats isn’t good for your hair?

All the men on both sides of my family are bald. I knew it was coming for me, and I never wanted to be the guy in his 20s sadly and desperately holding on. I figured the most manly course of action was full acceptance and acting before there was a problem.
I shaved my head when I was 19 and never looked back.

Shave it clean and wear hats. Bald is cold as fuck in the winter. Scalp burn is not cool. Grow a beard if you can.

@Brandrea I think people saying hats lead to hair loss is BS. It’s 100% genetics…. Or fire damage.
-
@Giles Are they doing a Lord of the Rings reboot or something?
-
Started losing it at 20 and so I bit the bullet and just started taking the razor to scalp and haven’t looked back. At this point, I’ve been bald more than half my life…

I was losing my hair in my late 20s. Shaved it all off for charity at 28 and haven’t looked back. It’s way simpler, and after everyone you already know has seen you once it’s never thought of again. I wish I didn’t lose my hair, but accepting that I had I no longer care in any way.
I’m in the perpetual hat camp too. Very real risks in my family of skin cancer so doing my best to avoid that. I have such a large head I can basically only buy Ebetts Fields Flannels hats.
Now I am perturbed that I get bullied by my mates for being ginger and bald. Doesn’t seem fair.

Having had skin cancer cut out recently I’ve got a patch on my head where hair won’t grow any more so I’d be shaving it now even if I wasn’t bald!
