@SourPower they are a pair of old “Byblos” an Italian brand. I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old (so a century ago
) for this reason even the lenses of the sunglasses are graduated and I change them very rarely unfortunately. -

Hey there! You have the black IHJ-86 jacket and OD pants. I'm considering between two jackets: either the OD 19 oz Lefty IH-526Lod or the Superblack 21 oz IH-9526PJ. Do you have an opinion on the black versus OD having both color treatments (I know one is a pair of pants). I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Mix it up and go for the super black! I have one and love it. Although I have too many jackets haha

@highdesertplains They are two very different jackets, the OD is not exactly black, I love them both even if I think that the 19oz Lefty fabric, in all its variations, is the best.

@highdesertplains one thing to note with the OD fabrics after comparing black and regular indigo is the OD products are so soft and nice from day one.

@highdesertplains oh man! That’s like asking if you should go out to the best steak house in town or the best Italian restaurant.
They are both incredible denims that shine for their own reasons. It’s really about what you’re looking for in a jacket. For me I wanted a true black fades to gray 14oz type 3. But I also have a non lefty 19oz OD type 3, an indigo lefty type 3 and a split steer type 3 haha.Do you want high contrast fading or low contrast? True black or OD that fades to bluish hues??
Because there are so many amazing denims to try, generally it means we end up trying lots of them because they all have such unique qualities. It’s what makes this hobby so damn fun/ addicting.

Loving these new cords, haven’t had a pair in at least 10 years. Need to get them hemmed but love the light weight and comfort these offer for springtime.

@highdesertplains haha. Such is the life of the denim head. It’s an obsession to take a new form of denim through its paces and enjoy the evo ride. The reward is an epic pair of jeans, shirt, or jacket that will leave mere mortals jaws a gape.
Sounds like perhaps you’re looking for one jacket that you can wear a ton and will look great in lots of combos. You really can’t go wrong man. I guess knowing your preferences/ tolerances for weights and stiffness is a key point to consider. Then from there indigo, black, or over dye.
If you wear a lot of blue jeans, I’d strongly consider black or OD to break up the double denim a bit (though round these parts that’s certainly no crime!!)
