@kantian I see what you mean but I think it depends on the environment. I work in marketing tech and I'm often the best dressed/most dressed up person in the office. Lots of folks just wearing jeans, t-shirt and sneakers and Paul Smith stuff seems to be considered as "fancy".

@m4xime Right. Some people really lean on the casual in business casual. I think it's mostly a byproduct of the current trend towards loose fitting clothes. If you're trying to look "professional", clean lines and tapering will always do most of the leg work.
