With the 21/23oz making a return in the 888 cut, any chance we may see it return in the 634 cut?

I got the 666 from the market and I realize up until the 888 cut this denim was retired (due to not selling well??) but its fucking amazing. I dare say its a very, very close second to my all time favorite 25oz and maybe if I had it in the 634 cut it would surpass the 25oz as my favorite.

While I am fairly certain I know the answer is "no", just thought I would ask anyway… 😉

We had to put the 666 and the 634 UHR on special due to lack of demand….

Such a shame! The UHR denim is incredible and it really is surprising it didn't receive the appreciation it deserves.

I figured that was the case….which is baffling to me. Well I do hope the 888 fares better 🙂

perhaps someday in the somewhat near future the UHR returns...till then, I suppose the 25oz will tide me over  😉

@Giles any clue as to why there wasn't a huge demand for this denim considering it's such a great fabric?

When we originally released it, it sold very well.  Then when we relaunched it, demand was a lot slower.

My view is that it is really a rather specialist denim, you need to work hard to get the best out of it and you can screw the denim up quite badly if you don't do the right things in the early days.  It's also pretty pricey.

Thirded on the genius of the UHR. I’m resisting the temptation to buy the 888-UHR as I have too much indigo denim and recently copped the 888S, but it may be hard. My UHR BB’s are too big for me but I wear them regularly because the denim is so bloody sexy.

I expect you’ll get UHR washing instructions in the package and you can find them on the main site too. Long story short, you need to avoid creases when soaking and/or washing as they’ll leave weird lines and marbling.
