I think we can do.
To make a nice solid color, we need to adjust the color depth of warp and weft.
So it takes longer before go into production. It's good to know color you want to do earlier than usual.

Just a suggestion, but an IH helmet collaboration could be interesting. Hedon, Davida or Ruby would be good starting points.

The trouble would be standards. Europe uses ECE 25.05, as do some other markets such as Canada and NZ; the US uses DOT; and Japan has its own, JIS 2506.

Just noticed that the chrome on my Ateliers Ruby helmet (used as a prop in the shop) is peeling off. These things normally retail for 1000€ plus, shouldn't be happening to a so called quality item. And certainly not when said item isn't worn, just a static object.
But then again, I was surprised when it was sent straight from the factory, which is in China…
You don't always get what you pay for.

I don't know if an "inside out" workshirt would look good? You know the pattern and appearance of warp and weft when you cuff? Perhaps there may be potential for interesting two tone colour combinations or of course it might just look like you're wearing your shirt the sting way round….

I have this old Woolrich Champion shirt and it has to be the coolest shirt I’ve ever seen. I would like to see an IH shirt with a similar idea to this:

• No side seems
• Soft loose weave
• Front of shirt: Calligraphic writing “Iron Heart” over a beautiful rendering of a front view of an old Harley (with no rider).
• Back of shirt: rear view of an old Harley (with no rider and no writing).
• Both front and back view perfectly aligned and done to the exact same scale.
• I also like the collar design, but it’s not necessarily a needed detail.

EDIT: yep. I was lobbying for a Type 1 but it's a great idea. I wish that the product on rakuten were still there, it looked very cool.
