A samurai x IH collaboration…
I would love the 634 cut, constructed by iron heart with poly cotton stitching in either the Samurai VX or 19 oz denim... I know.. I know... Probably a long shot but I think it would be amazing. Personally, I feel IH has the best cuts bar none... On me at least and I LOVE Sammie denim... What a collab this would be! One for the ages!

Sorry, was just reading an interview you had done that had asked a question about collaborations and got thinking. I won't do it again.
However, it's not like 2 brand collaborations is an unheard of concept. If that's not an interest I completely understand but since the question is what we'd like to see, I was simply putting the idea out there.

IH has done a two brand combination jean actually. With Jelado or someone, can't remember who.

Someone manages to get Haraki and Nogami-san into the same room to discuss.
"So Haraki-san, it is has been said that Iron Heart have better cuts but worse denim than Samurai and Nogami-san, your cuts are crap but your denim is great. How about combining the good bits (or should I say, take out the crap bits) and make a better overall jean?"
The next 30 seconds would be interesting.

Sure there has, but you have to understand the personalities, friendships and jealousies that exist within and between the brands.

Just for clarity, I was not trying to say that IH denim is crap. I'm fact my favorite denim I've ever owned is still the SExIH13 denim but I know I've asked about it being reproduced in the past and it was said it won't happen. It wasn't a suggestion that either company has sub par anything. It was just trying to hash out how the two would work together as that's what a collab is … A little of this, a little of that, mix it all together and that's that. As far as personalities clashing and competitiveness I get it completely, sometimes those things are hard to put behind us. It was simply a brainstorm of an idea, no harm was meant or disrespect to either company about anything they do. Obviously I'm a huge fan of both.

No offence or disrespect taken. Just trying to explain stuff (badly)…...And I don't think that either H or me think of others as competitors (there is room for everyone), there are just some things that won't happen. There are fierce loyalties and whatever the opposite is) in Japan.....

GAUZE shirts for the summer. Please make some long sleeve gauze western shirts. I got one years ago and I can't find anything like it anywhere. I would love to see one in a plaid blue/white/black/brown color scheme with brown snaps (tiger eye).
