This was also a consideration, people looking at two sets of measurements, two colourway options and getting so bogged down with options they buy neither is a phenomenon we have witnessed a lot.

Well done @Alex and team in making the hard decision, I’m sure it’ll pay off. Out of curiosity, does this mean that the shirts will have larger stock to account for people not having the option of western vs work?

I was just telling myself I didn't need another flannel then this one comes along lol. Might have to grab it to keep my gray SHF from last year company

I think that only offering each flannel in one cut is a great idea. If there’s a colour or fabric I really like and it’s only available as a work shirt, it will either tempt me out of my comfort zone with the westerns, or save me 300 quid. Either way that’s a win

@gouki74 I hear you.. I like the look of the work shirts and they fit me fine but my first two IH shirts were the indigo waffle work shirt and 10oz OD red work shirt. When they wouldn’t stay closed and the buttons started popping open by themselves they very quickly went on eBay and I switched to westerns. The only workshirt I have now is the Untucked… which has snaps.

Wow! This is the one "must buy" fall item for me (although I'm thinking real hard on the camel corduroy shirt and the Chalk Stripe UHF). This one perfectly bridges the vintage look with a crazy check. I love the orange and I'm going to make it work regardless of my pasty complexion.

The one thing I don't totally grasp is the "slubby flannel" thing - it's the same weight as a UHF, but more fuzzy/hairy on the outside? Not a dealbreaker, I'm just curious.

"Slubby Heavy Flannel (SHF) is new to Iron Heart and is constructed from 12oz slub yarn cotton. Compared to the Ultra Heavy Flannel (UHF), it has the same weight, but a more pronounced texture and uneven hand, leading to a slightly more rugged exterior. The weft is still double-brushed to ensure the flannel is very soft and comfortable."
