Do you anticipate any dye transfer from the overdye? Same as a pair of jeans maybe?
-
I've been curious about these OD flannels, but haven't seen many photos of them after being worn for a while. Would love to see this with some wear
-
@indigo_fades that may be a question for @Oaktavia - which one was yours, and how is it coming along?

Mine was the red western one. I have some pics there of the evo.

Do these become more vibrant with wear -
As the overdye fades? Or do they stay pretty black? -
Okay bit the bullet and got one of the last ones from the outlet.
Sleeve length is great - means I can wear it and still do tasks without the cuff getting in the way. Tighter in the pits than the Military serge western I bought in the same size, despite the actual Pit to Pit measurement being wider. I guess this is to do with the armpits being up a little higher? Will it stretch a little with time? It's pretty rough to the touch - not that luxurious feel I associate with the UHF (have only owned one before second hand). Is it worth a soak to remove some of the excess dye? Has a kind of chalky feel. If I do the soak, would wearing it damp help stretch to fit a little - like you can with denim?
Also the dyeing process has really thrashed the snaps - they are super dry/corroded and harder to snap on/off than usual. Should I give them a clean with something? The look is no problem, I just don't want them to fail.
Keen to see how this one evolves.
