If anyone is on the fence about these, get one! these are amazing heavy t-shirts. If I had to put my money on something, I would bet every single one of these 1600's ever made is still in wearable condition. They are indestructible and cut so comfortably.

Hey guys, if I would wash it in the machine hot and tumble try. Would it shrink notably?
With tees I typically do not stick to the washing rules. I‘m normally a Large in most shirts but would want the tee to not bee too loose.

These are pretty stable and don’t show much, if any, shrinkage with wash/drying. I’ve washed mine at 40C and chucked in the dryer loads of times - still fits perfectly

@Indigo-Alchemist they come out of the dryer noticeably tighter but always loosen back up with wear. They do not shrink and stay shrunk after a wash cycle.

I guess everyone reaches a point in their IH career when they need one (or two) of these!

Happy with the fit, although strangely the olive (not shown) wears slightly bigger despite having identical dimensions.

If I am an xxl in the 6.5 ounce shirts would I do the same in these? As I buy for a bit of shrinkage and people say these don't shrink I am not sure.

@rudy I'd recommend measuring one of your shrunken 6.5oz shirts that you like the fit of and matching those measurements to this shirt, granted I got a XXL and I washed it hot and dried it and it shrank a bit but it stretches back out in one wear

@rudy you'll be happy with a 2xl in this shirt. I am an xl in all of my IH shirts and i take an xl in the 1600 and thought i could possibly size down, it would be far too snug.

You were right on this. xxl was perfect and I would not have wanted to go any smaller

@rudy great to hear. This forum is a great resource for size advice. Don’t be afraid to warm wash and machine dry. This shirt takes abuse and pops right up ready to go.
