The horse got quite fulsome compliments from two random people when I was on a mission to collect something I had ordered (more on that tomorrow ). It never happens when I wear anything else so I guess I’ll have to accept the horse looks better than I do

@flannel-slut yeah that DIY emerald green is so nice! I really want a burgundy Serge shirt, but wouldn't wanna overdye my cherished grey one...

@T4920 thanks man. And a burgundy serge would look daaamn good but will say the dye was a little resistant to penetrating the serge material which might be why I have some streaking. Going from a light grey to a burgundy may create too much contrast if the dye does not take uniformly. Then again, it could have more of a tie dye effect and look sick… don’t mind me. Thinking out loud at this point.

Serge is such a great fabric it really does look good in most colours. A brick red/burgundy is not a bad shout at all, perhaps a navy or indigo would be cool too. Then a CPO, with copper snaps and.... to the "samples and things we should make" thread, I go

Currently holed up at the Polo Bar waiting for the first train home after a late concert, so not so old (although I bet I’ll feel it tomorrow)!

Loosing my feet was never on the cards, I just took 2 steps at once!

I've been stranded in London after missing the last train/coach more times than I care to admit, and the futile attempt to try and have fun/be social in bars when my body and mind is shutting down is about as close to hell as it gets for me.

A bacon butty, cup of tea, and a newspaper to hide my weary eyes behind sounds much more appealing.

@T4920 it’s directly opposite Liverpool Street and you might need to wait to get in (it was full at 2:30 this morning). Once in, the next challenge is working out if your head feels like it’s the end of one day or the start of the next - when I was eating breakfast other people were having burgers or fish and chips!

Steering back to the official subject, the horse got some positive attention from the guys on the next table - no idea if they’ll get into IH but they immediately recognised the horse is a jacket for life!
