Our classic work shirt design, made in Japan from 100% organic cotton. Environmentally friendly and sustainably sourced, organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilisers, making these shirts an ideal choice for eco-conscious wearers. With a thickness and texture that feels heavier than its 10oz weave - the chambray offers the perfect balance of strength, comfort and breathability, creating an ideal shirt for year round use. Unlike a lot of our other chambrays, the fabric has been sulphur dyed, meaning that it will age beautifully with wear. Finishing touches include white cat's eye buttons and a handy pen holder in the left-hand chest pocket.

Can I wait for that to happen within the next 12 months, or should I grab these 3 LS versions and get the sleeves chopped off?
Any pattern differences between SS and LS shirts other than sleeve length?

Maybe grab a LS, see how you get on, then buy the SS in 12 months when you realise you need both?

Sooo…can I infer from @Alex ’s answer that IH has plans for these (navy, red and mocha colours) in a short sleeve versions?

I already own these beauties in long sleeve form.

I think it sounds like a good idea, but there are no firm plans just yet. Maybe in the next SS collection that is not already planned and fully sampled

I have a question about fit. I understand that the work shirt fit is more generous than the western fit. I'm considering buying this shirt and want to have the option to tuck it in for office wear. I know... that is heretical to some purists, but I work in medicine and have to dress the part. I just don't want the shirt to be too boxy and billowy around the waist.

So, my question: Is this shirt ok to be tucked? Or, should I be looking at other brands of chambray with more taper?
