I've never wanted to remove it or tried too, but I have a feeling that its not worth the trouble and that you'll get used to it just fine.

The pockets are cool, I am sure you´ll find something to use them in a nice way

If you're careful and do it before the first wash, you should be able to remove the pocket with no ill effects.  Just get a stitch ripper and sit somewhere with good lighting and removal should be fairly easy.

Mind you, I've never done it, so this is speculative on my part…

Thanks Chris.  I'm going to give it a really hard look before giving it a shot.  May find that the risk of damage is not worth it.

Hardest part will be at the top edges of the pocket, where the stitching is doubled back to prevent it from unraveling.  Rest of it should be simple and quick.

It's really convenient, the pocket… I never clip my knife to it, although as you can tell it's possible... But it also holds my wallet/ CC holder!..

All my loopwheeled IH tees shrunk 0.75"-1.0" over several washes and drys. Like 30 times.
