Grooming and Hygiene

I received the Fulton and Roark Cult Favorites Discovery Set. I do like Sterling, so I ordered the "Solid Fragrance" tin of that as well as a tin of Calle Oche (based on some reviews). I'm unsure about Calle Ocho ... I've never been to a Pottery Barn, but for some reason that's my expectation of what that store might smell like.

Tub lasts 6-8 months keeps me fresh for at least 2 days and has no scent which is good and comes with a little applicator tool

Got my Fulton and Roark sample pack as well. Think my favorite is Fulton out of the five I chose. Second fave would be Devil’s Garden.

I’m kind of curious to try some others. Though Fulton is a keeper for sure.

@ZackB I went with the build your own sample pack. I read the descriptions to base my choices. Didn’t feel some of the smells matched what I thought they’d smell like. But a couple I really dig. So maybe the cult classics is the way to go. Can’t say for sure. I did find two I like though.

Long story short, Mrs H convinces me to grow the beard out again, I do and don’t like it, I have a spot of alopecia in the middle of my chin. Little Miss H (3) yesterday says “you look old like grandad because you have white hairs on your chin”. So I thought “fine, the chin has got to go”. Currently sporting friendly mutton chops, done initially to wind up the Mrs, and I don’t hate them/think they are that ridiculous.

Thoughts of the forum? Keep or go back to just the 'tache?

@WhiskeySandwich Yeah, I'm mostly using the remark by Little Miss as an excuse to try on mutton chops. The spot of alopecia on the other side of the chin was more annoying, but the main thing was having a hairy neck in the recent heatwave, if I'm being honest, which is why I shaved down to just a 'tache in the first place 5 years ago or so.

@scooter Jackman's never had the connecting 'tache. I was thinking more Lemmy, without the hair.

Hmm, you may be on to something there. To be honest, I never paid much mind to Lemmy's chops. I was always in full on Austin Powers mole mode...
