When I was in Arches National Park this guy pulls into the parking lot,in a van,takes two big ass parrots out and lets this one go. If I didn't take a picture you never would've believed me.

I shoot a Nikon F4S with a multitude of lenses. I usually shoot Portra 400 or HP5.

@SFMCfranky Sometimes that's how some of the best shots happen,but you did have the presence of mind to pick up your phone and take the shot. I'm a strong believer in the old adage "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"

Figured I should post this here as well as in Music. Over the years I’ve posted some of my surfing photography,and back in 1981 my band,Sorrows,recorded an instrumental called Slo Surfing. Just for fun I made a slide show using my images with the song. The record company got wind of this and today it was released as a video.

We just came back from the silk road in Uzbekistan. Beautiful country with amazing history and very very friendly people.

Looks amazing @Marc2706, what was your itinerary and how did you travel about?

@Bridger sorry for my late reply! We were landing in Taschkent and took a rental car. Next stops were Samarkand, Buchara and Chiva, the silk road and back. It was very easy to travel, friendly people, delicious food and you always felt very safe.
