The weather let up for a few days last week to take some shots and I finally had time to develop.

Used an Ilford XP2 400 as the maiden roll for the Leicaflex SL2. Here are a few of the highlights from it:

@J-IV Looks like the sun wasn’t your friend that day. A polarizing or a yellow filter might’ve helped,but sometimes you just have to take what’s available as you’re usually not going to have perfect conditions.

@Jett129 yeah no kidding. Not much light on the trail as the Redwoods blocked most of it and the light that was available was super harsh (shot around noon). But the summicron lens lived up to the hype I'd say. Never shot anything with that level of sharpness

Apologies for the dumb question interested to know why these few photos that were taken yesterday are not in focus if you zoom in on me. Is it something to do with what lens I’m using ? Thanks in advance.

what camera were you using and what did you focus on?
It does appear that the focus is locked onto the graffiti wall and you're standing just in front of what's "critically sharp"

Using a Canon EOS R with a Sigma 18-35mm lens.
My son took the photos, maybe never focused on me then?

What about the walking shot, isn’t that just point and shoot ? How would you put a moving subject in focus?
