These relaxed-fit, knee-length outdoor shorts are constructed from a cotton ripstop that is hardwearing, soft and very breathable, making them ideal for wear in warmer climates. The inspiration behind these is drawn from the vintage USMC P44 pants that also featured the functional side pockets to which OGL have added their own mark by adding a contrasting colour on the pocket tape seam.

I assume these are quite stretchy? Medium is listed as 32.3 inch waist. but model wears medium with a 35 inch waist...

I'm a 34.5 inch waist, think medium would be the right choice?

I doubt they are stretchy, given the fabric they are made from. I actually have not tried a pair of these on. Size them like a pair of jeans, measure the waistband of a pair of shorts/pants you like, compare to the chart, etc.
