Fit check! My first ever UHF. It feels a bit big but I went with a large as I’m gonna wear it as a over shirt this winter. What do you guys think?

As an overshirt it should work, otherwise I would maybe size down. Would be easier to tell if you button it up. Ultimately, it depends on how you prefer to wear it.

@Traditional__edc the fit looks great to me, especially as an overshirt. Out of curiosity, I also ordered the size Large and it will be here on Monday…if you don't mind sharing what is your height and weight? Thanks!

Perfect fit imo. Never understood why people want tight flannels…then I remember not everyone chops wood and fishes in them 😃

Also keep in mind that with washing especially when you wash it on regular base and hot the shirt will shrink half a size. Also as the information on the IH website says 🙂 and btw fit looks right for me and looks good on you!

Being overdyed this one is expected not to shrink, but I'm curious if anyone has had any serious shrinkage with a hot wash? Thinking of giving mine a spin at 60c…

                    Fit is perfect.

Why some advise to size down is beyond me.

I didn't measure pre or post wash (60c) but no, it basically won't shrink. It tightens up a bit, but nowhere near a regular UHF. Maybe if you blast it in the dryer as well..

and @Traditional__edc I think your fit looks pretty good as well, apart from the sleeves that are too long on everybody 😛

I gave mine a hot wash (60 degrees C) and put the shirt in the tumble dryer. As someone mentioned before: it didn‘t shrink (that much) but now it feels a little but more fitted. Before the wash I had to cuff the end of the sleeves. After the wash I don‘t have to anymore.

Another alternative is to edit the photos out either on the web browser, or Tapatalk.

It is super easy, and means you can retain text you wish to quote while still attracting the OP’s attention.

In fact, it is the better option on Tapatalk which doesn’t let you tag folks without workarounds.

Not discord, but something with a lot more functionality than we currently have.

While I’m super happy that Mickey has got results, I would proceed with caution. Hot washing UHF’s for shrinkage is a fine and established tradition but you wouldn’t want to overdo it. You can conceivably lose almost a whole size.

I would recommend taking it easy. First a warmer wash with drip dry for example. If you dind you need more after that that increase temp or use the tumble dryer.
