Gentlemen, could you please refrain from quoting pictures in your posts?  Please tag the individual using the @ symbol and their username if you want to attract their attention.

By quoting their picture, you just make the threads messy and difficult to follow.

If you need help in learning to use the @ feature properly, please pm either myself or @neph93 for guidance.

      Thank you!

Another alternative is to edit the photos out either on the web browser, or Tapatalk.

It is super easy, and means you can retain text you wish to quote while still attracting the OP’s attention.

In fact, it is the better option on Tapatalk which doesn’t let you tag folks without workarounds.

Not discord, but something with a lot more functionality than we currently have.

While I’m super happy that Mickey has got results, I would proceed with caution. Hot washing UHF’s for shrinkage is a fine and established tradition but you wouldn’t want to overdo it. You can conceivably lose almost a whole size.

I would recommend taking it easy. First a warmer wash with drip dry for example. If you dind you need more after that that increase temp or use the tumble dryer.

That makes sense! I was somewhat confused that OP had done a 60C wash and tumble dry and gotten minimal shrinkage.

I did so (60 degrees C and tumble dryer) straight away because I was aware of the fact that there won’t be much shrinkage due to the overdying process. Usually I am doing it like @neph93 suggests to proceed: first a gentle wash (40 Degrees C), than more temperature (60 degrees C) and if I still need some more shrinkage I use the tumble dryer.

Glorious shirt. Looks like you could get away with a little shrinkage. You have a little bit extra in the arms and shoulders. But by no means too much. A warmish wash when it needs it should see the shirt tighten up just right.

@neph93 thanks! It’s really glorious like you said! A true piece of art and thanks for profiling the size 🙂 right now i wear a thin shirt under it but it’s nice to know i can run a thicker or thermo shirt under it and like you’ve said when i wash it the shrinkage will give me the ‘perfect’ fit!

I basically never use the dryer because I prefer the feel of clothes after they hang to dry. But, I wanted a little bit of shrinkage and post dryer the size feels pretty good! I don't have any measurements, but after two washes (60 and 40 C) and one session in the dryer (70 C) it tighetened up nicely. Nothing major, but sizing definitely feels better now  😎
