my finger is on the trigger. But I'm still unsure about doing.
Pro:
- I love IH and 634S is the core of IH style.
- I have only one pair of 22oz Jeans (666Sod are 18oz)
- You all have at least one pair of 634S, and that means something…
Contra
- This month I have just bought 2 pair of IH
- I'm not sure of the size to choose. I got 29 301S, and it's ok; I got 30 of 666Sod, and it's ok. Which size for 634S? 29 or 30?
- Summer is coming. Maybe it's better if I catch a pair of TW1220FI
What to do?

You can always wait, take some time to enjoy wearing the 301 and 666 and appreciate them. Size wise, I think you are good on 29, 634S is roomier. Finally, you should have no problem wearing it in the summer unless it is super hot.

seconded. def. 29, but I think you could even fit a 28. I'm wearing the 666od in 31 and just received a very special pair of 634s in size 28 via Giles, perfect

I went a size down on my 634's, my 301's are a 33, 634's are a 32. Both perfect.

I sized down 1 to a 31 on my 634s. I tried on the overdyed 301s at Self Edge and was a 32. I agree with Beatle that you could take a 28 in the 634s.
Note that the leg opening on the 634s is quite a bit larger than the 301 or 666 and make sure you are ok with this. The 634s usually look better with boots or chunky sneakers than slimmer and dressier shoes.

634S size 28 -> leg opening 7.8
634S size 29 -> leg opening 8
666Sod size 30 -> leg opening 7.25
301S size 29 -> leg opening 6.9I dont know.
My concern is about the waist. Talking about 634S, 28 and 29 are almost the same in thigh, knee and all. The only real difference is waist. My 666Sod were 28,9, and now are 30 (more or less), and that's ok. Buying a 634S size 28 I can only wish in a 29 after some days, best case scenario. If… and I say IF I will be able to fasten them.I think I will choose a 29. But first, i'm gonna do a little experiment…

Remember Georgeel, they'll stretch up to 1.5 inches in the waist. My 634's were tight when I got them, I could
hardly fasten them but after a few days they stretched and now they're perfect.
The 634's have a higher rise than the 301's too, I was sure I'd take a 33 in the 634's like I did with my 301's
but I sized down to a 32 and I'm glad I did.

if your true waist is 30 then get a 29. they will stretch to 30. the 634 is easily one of my favorite fitting jeans of all time.

I hope you folks don't mind being a tad patient with me.
I am a bit confused as to sizing and I want to make sure that I get this right. I typically wear a marked size of 36 in Levi 501 STF and if I measure these jeans, they measure about a 37 (and they fit pretty well). If I measure my waist, it measures about 37 also.
So I am unsure as to whether or not to get a 38 or a 36 in the 634s. Based on the measurements I see on the IH sales website, it looks like the 38s measure about 37.4 and that the 36 is pretty much spot on. From what I understand, these jeans don't shrink much and stretch quite a bit. Based on reading posts on here, it seems like nearly everybody sizes down on these things.
My question is this: can I expect the size 38 pants to measure 37 after a soak or a wash? and Even though my waist is a 37, would these pants still stretch from just moving around?

IMO, go for 36 and u will be fine.
Can you give me a better idea about stretching? With a pair of levi's, when they feel snug, I button them up and they are loose within about 15 minutes. Can you give me an idea about how long does it take a pair of Iron Hearts to loosen up?
